Made of Sinter ruby (20-times harder than steel)

Sharpening is defined as the process of erecting a blunt blade with the help of a sharpening steel. If a knife is already blunt it has to be grinded in order to be sharp again.

The ruby sharpening steels from Sieger are suited very well to sharpen your knives. The knife is pulled with slightly pressure against the tube in a smooth movement. The blade will be straightened and the cut "returns". This steel can especially be used for very hard metal like the Kasumi knives.
