This oval casserole dish with a lid is the perfect cookware for savoury and sweet gratins as well as other baked dishes. The dish is a subtle graphite grey colour which measures 23 x 17 cm and can hold up to 1 litre. You can hold the dish securely using the handles which are also made of cast iron. The casserole dish from the STAUB Tableware series is equally suited for frying or pre-cooking dishes on the cooker as well as in the oven. The cast iron workmanship evenly distributes heat so that your meals are evenly browned and crispy all the way round. In addition, it retains heat and thus supports efficient cooking.
